Drawing with Gold - Workshop for Families
Imagine drawing like the great masters of the Renaissance, using goldpoint on paper. Now imagine doing this alongside your son or daughter, creating memories that will last forever.
On 14th of March, we invite parents and children to discover the ancient art of gold pen drawing in a unique experience at the Convento dos Cardaes (Lisbon-Príncipe Real), which combines tradition, creativity and quality family time.
Who will be teaching us?
This workshop is presented by Nelson Ferreira, whom many may know from ‘Fungagá das Artes’ the online drawing course that has inspired more than 40,000 families. A rare opportunity to learn in person from someone who has already won the trust of thousands of parents and educators.
What will we do?
In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn the ancient technique of drawing with goldpoint on paper, just as Renaissance artists did. Similar to silverpoint drawing, but with the more precious metal.
As you create your drawings, the space will be perfumed with authentic incense and myrrh - the same scents that the Three Wise Men offered more than two thousand years ago.
Each participant will create their own gold drawing to take home - a special souvenir of this shared experience.
Suitable for adults and children aged 9 and over.
